About the Company

Les Ingénieurs de l'Armement sont les officiers du seul corps militaire des grands corps de la haute fonction publique. Ils ont vocation à diriger l'action de l'État dans les domaines de la sécurité, l'aéronautique et la défense. Gérés par la DGA et le Conseil Général de l'Armement (CGArm), les IA occupent essentiellement des fonctions dans l’écosystème de la défense et de la sécurité : ils peuvent accomplir toute mission scientifique, technique, industrielle, d'administration ou de direction au sein de Ministères français (principalement le Ministère des Armées et en particulier la DGA, Direction Générale de l'Armement), d'organismes publics ou internationaux tout comme dans l'industrie privée, des PME aux grands groupes en passant par les ETI. Fédérés en association loi 1901, La CAIA (Confédération Amicale des Ingénieurs de l'Armement) est le cadre privilégié de rencontre et de dialogue de tous ces Ingénieurs de l'Armement. Par sa force de proposition et ses actions de communication, la confédération des IA participe au renom, aux évolutions et à la cohésion du corps des Ingénieurs de l'Armement. Elle resserre les liens de solidarité et vient en aide à ses membres en cas de besoin.

Job Description
**Job Title:** Assistant Director – Support for CAIA Network Animation **Role Summary:** Provide administrative, event coordination, communication and website support to the Confederación Amigable de Ingenieros de Armamento (CAIA), enabling member engagement and organizational events. Work as a self‑employed contractor roughly 3 days per week, with a mix of onsite and remote work. **Expectations:** - Operate as an independent contractor under a service contract. - Commit to a 3‑year engagement, renewable annually, with a starting date of 1 Jan 2026. - Offer 3 days per week of service, with at least one onsite day; remaining days may be remote. - Maintain responsiveness, confidentiality, and high organisational standards. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. **Executive Support** – Assist the President/CEO and general delegate with mail handling, scheduling, and general administrative tasks. 2. **Event Coordination** – - Plan and support logistics for councils, board meetings, dinners, afterworks, regional visits, annual General Assembly, Gala, and Colloquium. - Manage invitations, attendance tracking, minutes, and post‑event follow‑up. 3. **Financial & Administrative Tasks** – - Support treasurer with invoicing, fee collection, payment processing, and procurement. - Maintain document filing, archives, and email organization. 4. **Website & Communication** – - Update CAIA website pages, manage member contact information, and coordinate liaison with board members. - Draft and disseminate member communications, including newsletters, event announcements, and special print materials. 5. **Directory Management** – Update member directory, create new member profiles, and coordinate member information completion. 6. **Special Projects** – Assist with marketing collateral for events (programs, invitations, posters), sponsor outreach, and logistical support during major events. **Required Skills:** - Proficient in Microsoft Word and basic Excel; familiarity with website publishing tools. - Strong oral and written communication; clarity in emails, minutes, and member correspondence. - Initiative, autonomy, availability, reactivity, teamwork, rigor, organisation, discretion, and sensitivity to confidential information. **Preferred Skills:** - Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and publishing software (e.g., InDesign). - Basic financial management (invoice creation, payment tracking). - Experience in event coordination and member services. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or a related field. - No specific certifications required.
