**Job Title:**
Head of Data Centre Delivery
**Role Summary:**
Lead end‑to‑end delivery of modular and fixed‑build high‑density data centres across the UK, ensuring sites are ready for construction, technically aligned, and completed on time, within budget and to specification.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver multiple concurrent projects for a next‑generation AI infrastructure portfolio.
- Maintain full visibility of schedule, cost, risk, and quality.
- Interface with engineering, design, procurement, utilities, and specialist vendors to drive seamless integration and operational handover.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Site Readiness & Pre‑Construction:** Conduct feasibility studies, mobility planning, risk mitigation for grid, civil, and logistics; coordinate specifications with design partners; support vendor selection.
- **Project Delivery & Construction Oversight:** Manage groundworks, civil works, modular installation, and fit‑out; monitor progress, resolve blockers, and ensure adherence to cost, schedule, and quality.
- **Procurement & Vendor Management:** Lead contract negotiation and performance of MEP, construction, cabling, and commissioning suppliers; enforce SLAs, quality, and CDM health & safety.
- **Technical Integration & Handover:** Oversee rack, cooling, power, fire suppression, and security installation; align with IT/operations for go‑live readiness.
- **Programme & Budget Ownership:** Own project calendars, budgets, reporting; drive risk management and deliver status updates to senior leadership.
**Required Skills:**
- Proven track record in delivering mission‑critical data centre or infrastructure projects.
- Strong construction project management, M&E, or infrastructure delivery background.
- Experience in pre‑construction planning, procurement alignment, and multi‑vendor coordination.
- Deep knowledge of UK utility and power systems (DNO, ICP).
- Familiarity with CDM regulations and site safety compliance.
- Excellent stakeholder management across technical and executive levels.
- Results‑driven, pragmatic, and comfortable in fast‑moving multi‑site environments.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Relevant construction or project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) preferred.
