Job Description

Job Title: Stores Supervisor Role Summary: Oversee the efficient operation of the stores department, managing stock, deliveries, fleet maintenance, and health & safety compliance. Expactations: - Counterbalance forklift licence. - Full UK driving licence with 2+ years of experience. - Good computer literacy. - Ability to work under minimal supervision. - Previous stock/inventory management experience. - High attention to detail and accuracy. Key Responsibilities: - Accurately book stock in/out into the system and complete related paperwork. - Schedule and coordinate deliveries to engineers and clients. - Pick, pack, and load/unload stock with 100% accuracy, using forklift where required. - Maintain system stock movement records and assist with annual stocktakes and cyclical checks. - Arrange maintenance for fleet vehicles. - Keep the stores area clean, tidy, safe, and environmentally compliant. - Provide occasional deliveries in the event of a driver’s absence. Required Skills: - Counterbalance forklift operation. - Valid full driving licence. - Inventory/stock management. - Computer proficiency. - Attention to detail. - Independent work ethic. - Safety and environmental compliance awareness. Required Education & Certifications: - Counterbalance forklift licence (required). - Full UK driving licence (required). - Minimum secondary education or equivalent practical experience.
