**Job title**
Senior Plant HR Business Partner
**Role Summary**
Strategic HR partner for a major production site, driving culture, performance, engagement, and compliance while serving as an on‑the‑floor HR presence and liaison to site leadership and staff.
**Expectations**
* Deliver HR strategy that aligns with business objectives and enhances performance and retention.
* Act as a trusted advisor and visible supporter for all plant employees.
* Manage social relations, resolve tensions, and uphold Belgian labour law compliance.
* Lead talent initiatives and analyse HR data to inform decisions.
* Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
* Collaborate with regional HR and contribute to international projects.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Partner with site management to implement HR strategies for performance, engagement, and retention.
* Coach and develop line managers’ leadership capabilities.
* Provide an accessible HR presence for operators, supervisors, and support staff.
* Manage relations with employee representatives and unions, handling social dialogue and conflict resolution.
* Deploy workforce planning, recruitment, learning & development, and talent management initiatives.
* Ensure effective execution of HR operational processes (timekeeping, benefits administration, compliance).
* Analyse HR metrics and present insights to support business goals.
* Apply and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion policies on the plant.
* Coordinate with regional HR and participate in cross‑regional or global HR projects.
**Required Skills**
* ≥5 years of HR Business Partner experience, ideally in industrial or production settings.
* Deep knowledge of Belgian labour law, collective bargaining, and employee representative engagement.
* Strong coaching, influencing, negotiation, and conflict‑resolution abilities.
* Empathy, solution orientation, and results‑focused mindset.
* Excellent communication in French and English; Dutch language skills are an asset.
* Autonomous, trustworthy, and capable of building bridges across hierarchical levels.
* Experience working in a multinational, matrixed environment.
**Required Education & Certifications**
* Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Law, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* HR professional certifications preferred (e.g., SHRM‑CP, SHRM‑SHRM‑SP, CIPD, PHR, or equivalent).
