Job Description

Job Title: Software Engineer Internship Role Summary Hands‑on software development intern focused on enhancing a mobile platform. Supports the full application lifecycle—design, development, testing, and maintenance—using React Native and AWS. Collaborates with cross‑functional teams to integrate APIs, debug performance issues, and document processes. Expectations - Deliver functional front‑end components from wireframes and Figma designs. - Participate in multiple testing cycles to ensure a stable, high‑performance user experience. - Engage with API integration (LinkedIn, OpenAI, Intercom) and monitor application health. - Contribute to knowledge base creation and internal process documentation. - Propose and assess tech‑stack improvements for scalability. Key Responsibilities - Build and iterate React Native UI components per design specifications. - Integrate and test third‑party APIs and backend services (AWS Cognito, AppSync). - Conduct comprehensive testing (unit, integration, performance) and resolve bugs. - Monitor application metrics using Amplitude and Sentry; address crashes and bottlenecks. - Collaborate with designers, data analysts, and backend engineers to refine product features. - Recommend and implement tech‑stack optimizations for performance and maintainability. - Document code, processes, and troubleshooting steps; maintain an internal knowledge base.
