Responsibilities
We are looking for a technically skilled, hands-on software development intern to support the continuous improvement of our mobile platform. This role is ideal for a developer eager to gain experience across the full app lifecycle: from testing and debugging to implementing new features and integrations. You will work closely alongside the COO, external developers, and designers to help bring outsourced development more in-house.
Build and implement new front-end components and user interfaces (React Native) based on provided wireframes and designs in Figma.
Partner with cross-functional contributors (including designers, data analysts, and back-end engineers) to execute product improvements.
Conduct several rounds of detailed app testing to identify, document, and resolve bugs, crashes, and performance bottlenecks to ensure a reliable user experience.
Collaborate on API connections (ex: LinkedIn, OpenAI, Intercom) to enhance platform capabilities and ensure smooth communication between front and back ends.
Perform ongoing troubleshooting, platform upkeep, and quality assurance testing.
Take inventory of the existing tech stack and recommend upgrades or streamlining measures to optimize performance and scalability.
Knowledge Transfer: Help document internal processes and build an internal knowledge base (IKB) to support future internal software development and onboarding.

Required Experience
Proficiency in JavaScript and cross-platform development using React Native.
Familiarity with API development and integration.
Understanding of app development lifecycle: from concept, launch, and maintenance.
Excellent debugging and performance optimization skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Interest in documentation, process improvement, and scalable systems design.
Bonus – Experience with AWS services (Cognito, AppSync, Lambda)
Bonus – Familiarity with low-code tools (Retool, Zapier)
Bonus – Experience with analytics/monitoring platforms (Amplitude, Sentry)
