Job Description
Job Title: eDCT Calibration Engineer Role Summary: Perform calibration and validation of Electrified Dual Clutch Transmission (eDCT) systems, ensuring optimal performance, efficiency, and reliability across diverse operating conditions. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate TCU software with hardware, manage calibration data, and provide customer support. Expectations: - Junior to mid‑level engineer with a Master’s in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related field. - Strong automotive powertrain knowledge; experience with e‑Drive, electric motor fundamentals, and power electronics a plus. - Proficient in English (written and spoken). - Systematic, independent problem‑solver with a goal‑oriented mindset. - Willingness to travel for testing or customer support. Key Responsibilities: - Execute assigned calibration work packages using company tools and processes. - Fine‑tune parameters, validate control strategies, and optimize performance for various driving scenarios. - Define and conduct test plans on test benches, chassis dynamometers, or vehicles. - Perform objective and subjective drivability assessments using data acquisition systems. - Maintain calibration datasets for assigned software modules. - Resolve technical roadblocks by collaborating with engineering, maintenance, and service teams. - Interact with customers and service providers to share experiences and insights. Required Skills: - Automotive powertrain dynamics understanding. - Familiarity with block diagrams, MATLAB/Simulink. - Programming knowledge: C/C++, Python, or MATLAB script. - Experience with calibration and data acquisition tools (Vector CANape, ETAS INCA, AVL DRIVE, AVL CAMEO, AVL SPA, AVL CRETA). - Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills. Required Education & Certifications: - Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electro‑Mechanical, Electronics Engineering, or closely related discipline.
