Senior Manager, Strategic Partnerships
**Role Summary**
Lead the expansion and optimization of payment‑related strategic alliances in the U.S., driving revenue, market share, and innovation. Own partner success, GTM execution, pipeline management, and cross‑functional alignment across product, sales, marketing, and finance teams.
**Expectations**
- Own end‑to‑end partnership lifecycle: development, negotiation, performance tracking, and renewal.
- Deliver measurable revenue growth, cost optimization, and market‑share gains for key payment partners (Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, issuers, acquirers, PSPs, e‑commerce platforms).
- Act as the internal thought leader on payments strategy and partnership enablement.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Develop and execute partnership strategy and GTM plans for existing and new strategic partners.
2. Manage partner pipelines, track performance metrics (merchant growth, transaction volume), and recommend strategic actions.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with partner executives; lead negotiations, RFPs, and commercial agreements.
4. Collaborate with product to shape feature roadmaps and safeguard competitive advantage.
5. Partner with sales & marketing to design and roll out high‑impact co‑marketing initiatives.
6. Leverage AI and analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce Einstein, ChatGPT, Notion AI) to surface insights, automate reporting, and identify optimization opportunities.
7. Align with regional stakeholders to share best practices, risks, and partnership updates.
8. Ensure robust processes for onboarding, performance monitoring, and strategic course corrections.
**Required Skills**
- 5+ years of experience in strategy, partnership, or payments; 4+ years managing relationships with payment networks, wallets, issuers, or acquirers.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling in Excel; data‑driven decision making.
- Proficiency with Salesforce, GTM execution, and pipeline management.
- Proven negotiation and influence skills; experience closing complex multi‑party deals.
- Familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, Salesforce Einstein, Notion AI) for operational efficiency.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Background in consulting (Deloitte, McKinsey, etc.) is a plus.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Relevant certifications in project management, sales or payments (e.g., PMP, Certified Payments Professional) beneficial but not mandatory.
