Job Description
**Job title:** ServiceNow Platform Developer **Role Summary:** Design, configure, and maintain ServiceNow platform solutions to support IT Asset Management, Security Operations, Strategic Portfolio Management, and HR Service Delivery, ensuring compliance with ITIL processes and enterprise governance. **Expectations:** - 5+ years of direct ServiceNow development and implementation experience (6+ for senior roles). - Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and deliver high‑quality releases. - Willingness to work extended hours, including weekends, as required. **Key Responsibilities:** - Build and configure ServiceNow modules (ITAM, ITOM, SecOps, SPM, HR Service Delivery). - Develop custom applications, workflows, integrations (REST/SOAP, JSON/XML) and automate asset lifecycle. - Manage and enhance ITSM processes (incident, problem, change, request). - Design user experience via Workspaces, Employee Center, and AI features. - Create dashboards, reports, KPIs and provide insights to stakeholders. - Lead upgrades, patching, change control, and release management. - Monitor platform health, address bugs, perform testing, and document procedures. - Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and platform management to align solutions with strategy. **Required Skills:** - ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API, Business Rules, Client Scripts). - Experience with ITAM (HAM/SAM), ITOM (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management), SecOps (Vulnerability Response, Security Incident Response), and CMDB. - Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or PowerShell; REST/SOAP web services; JSON/XML. - Strong understanding of ITIL processes and governance standards. - Excellent technical documentation and communication. - Ability to work independently and in cross‑functional teams. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (equivalent experience acceptable). - Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ServiceNow Certified Application Developer, System Administrator) preferred.
