**Job Title** People Operations & Contract Administration Co‑Op – Winter 2026 (4 Months) **Role Summary** Support the People Operations generalist by managing HR processes (onboarding, employee records, engagement) and providing PMO assistance through contract administration, compliance tracking, and documentation. **Expectations** • Detail‑oriented, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment. • Maintain confidentiality, exhibit sound judgment, and demonstrate high professionalism. • Engage effectively with diverse teams, adapt to changing priorities, and drive continuous improvement. **Key Responsibilities** *People Operations (≈80 %)* - Draft, update, and organize HR policies, procedures, and internal communications. - Maintain accurate, confidential employee records per legislation and organizational standards. - Support onboarding/off‑boarding, interview logistics, candidate communication, and job postings. - Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives and internal events. - Track compliance metrics (training, employment standards) and contribute to HR reporting. *PMO Support (≈20 %)* - Draft, review, and update legal agreements, contracts, and policy amendments. - Ensure contracts comply with legislation, regulations, and internal policies; monitor renewals and milestones. - Conduct research on bylaws, municipal requirements, and regulatory guidelines. - Coordinate cross‑departmental collaboration on contract terms and project objectives. - Maintain digital records (shared drives, vendor management tools) and support day‑to‑day operational tasks (Visio, Excel, PowerPoint). **Required Skills** - Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). - Strong analytical, writing, and organizational abilities. - Excellent time‑management and prioritization skills. - Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks with minimal supervision. - Confidentiality, sound judgment, and diplomatic communication. - Interpersonal skills for collaboration across teams. - Adaptability, curiosity, and continuous learning mindset. - Experience in diverse and inclusive settings. **Required Education & Certifications** - Currently enrolled in a co‑operative education program at a recognized Canadian post‑secondary institution. - Pursuing a diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related discipline. - Eligible to work full‑time during the co‑op term per school guidelines.
