**Job title** Full Stack Engineer **Role Summary** Lead the design and implementation of a Python‑based, event‑driven backend for a voice‑enabled AI meeting assistant. Build scalable services on AWS, integrate speech‑to‑text, text‑to‑speech, and large language model APIs, and collaborate with frontend engineers using Next.js to deliver a seamless digital teammate experience. **Expectations** - Deliver production‑ready, highly available services in a fast‑paced startup environment. - Own end‑to‑end architecture decisions and influence product direction. - Prototype and iterate on AI features quickly, maintaining code quality and performance. **Key Responsibilities** - Architect and develop backend microservices in Python/FastAPI, including async workers. - Design and implement event‑driven workflows on AWS (ECS, Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS/SNS). - Build and maintain pipelines for speech‑to‑text (Whisper, Deepgram, AWS Transcribe) and text‑to‑speech (ElevenLabs, AWS Polly). - Integrate LLM reasoning through OpenAI and Anthropic Claude APIs. - Collaborate with frontend engineers building the UI in Next.js. - Create integrations with Google Calendar, Slack, email, and CRM systems. - Containerise services with Docker, support CI/CD pipelines. - Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical documentation. **Required Skills** - 6+ years backend development experience, Python + FastAPI. - Strong asynchronous programming and distributed systems knowledge. - Hands‑on AWS cloud architecture (ECS, Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS/SNS). - Experience with AI/LLM APIs and/or speech recognition/text synthesis. - Familiarity with JavaScript/Next.js for collaborative workflows. - Proficiency in Docker, CI/CD, and modern deployment practices. - Strong problem‑solving, ownership, and builder mindset. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). - AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar certification is preferred.
