Role: Senior Python Developer

We’re looking for a highly skilled Senior Python Developer to join our core team and help shape the technical foundation of Auray. This role involves building scalable, event-driven systems and integrating cutting-edge AI technologies to create seamless, human-like meeting experiences.

What You’ll Work On
Architecting and developing backend systems using Python (FastAPI, async workers)
Designing an event-driven infrastructure on AWS (ECS, Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS/SNS)
Integrating Speech-to-Text (Whisper, Deepgram, AWS Transcribe) and Text-to-Speech (ElevenLabs, AWS Polly) pipelines
Implementing LLM reasoning with OpenAI and Anthropic Claude
Collaborating with frontend engineers working in Next.js
Building integrations for Google Calendar, Slack, Email, and CRM systems
Contributing to bot automation with Vanilla JS and Docker containers

What We’re Looking For
6+ years of experience in backend development (preferably Python/FastAPI)
Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and distributed systems
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure
Knowledge of AI/LLM APIs, and/or experience integrating speech or chat models
Familiarity with Next.js or frontend collaboration workflows
A builder mindset — someone excited to shape an early-stage product from the ground up
