Job Description
**Job title** Project Sales Executive – Fire Alarm Systems **Role Summary** Drive new business and manage existing client portfolio for fire alarm solutions in the Cambridge, Ontario area, engaging contractors and end-users, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure successful project execution. **Expectations** - Achieve sales targets through proactive prospecting and relationship building. - Maintain a high level of product knowledge and regulatory compliance. - Operate independently with minimal supervision, while collaborating with contractors and cross‑functional teams. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Identify and qualify potential clients, assessing fire safety needs. 2. Present and sell tailored fire alarm system solutions. 3. Build and nurture relationships with general contractors and construction professionals. 4. Coordinate with internal installation, engineering, and project management teams to deliver projects on time. 5. Maintain accurate sales records, update CRM, and provide regular activity and forecast reports to management. 6. Travel within Cambridge and surrounding regions as required. **Required Skills** - Proven sales experience in fire protection, security, or related technical systems. - In‑depth understanding of fire alarm systems, codes, and regulations. - Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building capabilities. - Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and capable of independent work. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (preferred). - Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Fire Alarm Installer, Sales Professional certifications) are an advantage.
