Job title: General Manager Role Summary: Lead operations for 3 student accommodation sites on a 6‑month fixed‑term contract starting January. Own full customer journey, drive revenue, maintain safety & compliance, and foster community engagement. Expectations: Deliver high occupancy and revenue targets; maintain exceptional resident experience across all sites; manage multi‑site operations with accountability for financial performance and capital planning; promote sustainability and well‑being. Key Responsibilities: • Lead, coach, and motivate on‑site teams to achieve resident satisfaction and operational excellence. • Develop and execute revenue growth strategies and secure partnerships. • Ensure properties are clean, compliant with safety standards, and well‑maintained. • Build relationships with universities, local communities, and residents. • Own financial performance, cost control, and capital planning. • Champion sustainability, well‑being, and engagement initiatives. • Manage multiple sites and hold a full driving licence. Required Skills: • Strong leadership with empathy, accountability, and solution‑focused mindset. • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. • Proven ability to balance operational efficiency with community building. • Commercial acumen and experience driving revenue & occupancy. • Knowledge of safety, compliance, and maintenance standards. • Experience managing multi‑site residential operations. Required Education & Certifications: • 3‑4 years of relevant professional experience (e.g., hospitality, residential property management). • Business, Management, or related tertiary qualification preferred. • Current full UK driving licence.
