Job Description
Job Title: Head of Data / Head of Data Strategy Role Summary: Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive Data Strategy, aligning data initiatives with long‑term business objectives and driving AI, innovation and automation readiness. Report directly to the CIO within the Technology leadership team. Foster a data‑driven culture across the firm and oversee the modernisation of the data platform. Expectations: Deliver a scalable, cloud‑based data architecture that supports analytics and AI. Establish robust Data Governance, risk assessment, and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials Plus). Collaborate with senior stakeholders to ensure data initiatives are embedded in business operations and maintained post‑implementation. Manage third‑party technology providers and negotiate contracts.
