Job Description
**Job Title** Senior Procurement Specialist – Indirect (NFR) **Role Summary** Drive strategic sourcing and procurement for non‑resale indirect spend, including equipment, supplies, materials, and services. Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to secure value‑adding agreements, manage purchasing workflows, and cultivate supplier relationships. **Expectations** - Deliver maximum value within enterprise procurement objectives. - Apply analytical rigor to sourcing decisions and supplier performance. - Maintain compliance, accuracy, and efficiency across purchasing processes. - Foster continuous improvement in cost, waste, and efficiency. **Key Responsibilities** - Negotiate contracts for Indirect/Not‑for‑Resale categories. - Provide subject‑matter expertise on sourcing strategies and operational initiatives. - Oversee purchasing activities: requisitions, purchase orders, and workflow compliance. - Lead Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) for designated categories. - Identify and implement cost‑saving and efficiency opportunities. - Support cross‑functional procurement of equipment, services, and materials for remodels, openings, and major projects. **Required Skills** - Proficient in procurement fundamentals, sourcing best practices, and total cost of ownership analysis. - Strong financial literacy: cost analysis, inventory impact, KPI interpretation. - End‑to‑end supply‑chain awareness (manufacturing, warehousing, transportation, freight). - Excellent communication, relationship‑building, and stakeholder management. - Organizational and time‑management skills; multi‑category/project handling. - Analytical mindset for supplier performance assessment and sourcing evaluation. - Proficiency in ERP and procurement platforms. - Creative problem‑solving and rapid solution development. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree (Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field). - 3–5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Retail, Procurement, or NFR categories. - Industry certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS, CSCP) preferred but not mandatory.
