**Job Title** Business Development Intern – Summer 2026 **Role Summary** Assist in identifying, tracking, and developing new business opportunities within the A/E/C industry. Support the development of client proposals, maintain the CRM system, and contribute to outreach and marketing initiatives. Complete a capstone project that showcases skills in market research, CRM optimization, or client engagement. **Expectations** - Gain hands‑on experience in business development and sales strategy. - Learn industry tools (CRM, Microsoft Office, social media) and processes for proposal creation. - Build professional communication skills and client networking abilities. - Produce a deliverable project that can be highlighted in future interviews. **Key Responsibilities** - Identify and document new business opportunities in real time. - Enter and manage client leads in the CRM, ensuring follow‑up actions are scheduled and tracked. - Support proposal development: collect data, format content, and assist in final delivery to clients. - Assist in planning and executing outreach activities and industry events to strengthen professional networks. - Contribute to marketing and communications efforts that position the company to attract and retain clients. - Execute a capstone project (e.g., market analysis, CRM enhancement, engagement strategy) and present findings to stakeholders. **Required Skills** - Strong written and verbal communication. - Excellent organization and multitasking abilities; meet deadlines independently or in a team. - Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Familiarity with social media platforms (preferred). - Comfortable engaging with clients and presenting professionally. - Ability to perform data entry, manage electronic communication, and handle office equipment. **Required Education & Certifications** - Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. - No additional certifications required.
