Position Overview
If you’re curious about how engineering and consulting firms grow and win projects, this internship is your entry point. You’ll learn the business side of the A/E/C (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) industry, from building client relationships to supporting proposals that shape future projects.
Responsibilities
See how new opportunities are identified, tracked, and developed in real time.
Gain experience using CRM systems to organize and follow up on client leads.
Learn how proposals are built, from data gathering and formatting to final delivery.
Support outreach efforts and industry events that strengthen professional networks.
Understand the role of marketing and communications in positioning a technical company.
Capstone Project
You’ll complete a specialized capstone project, such as a market research analysis, CRM optimization initiative, or client engagement strategy. This deliverable will serve as a showcase piece for your résumé and demonstrate your ability to apply business development skills to real-world scenarios.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for organization.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with social media platforms preferred.
Able to manage multiple tasks, stay on deadline, and work independently or in a team.
Comfortable engaging with clients and presenting yourself professionally.
Where This Can Take You
This internship will give you insight into business development, sales strategy, and client engagement—along with a project you can highlight in interviews to demonstrate applied business skills.

Physical Demands & Work Environment
This position primarily operates in a professional office environment, requiring the ability to work at a

communication via email, phone, and in-person interactions.
The role involves regular communication with team members, clients, and stakeholders, both in person
and through virtual platforms.
The physical demands of the job may include occasional standing, walking, bending, and lifting of office
materials up to 15 pounds.
