Job Description
Job Title: Channel Sales Manager Role Summary: Lead and grow the food service, retail, and gas & convenience channels across North America. Build strong partnerships with national and regional retailers, drive sales, optimize distribution, and execute channel-specific marketing initiatives. Expactations: Deliver measurable sales growth, achieve channel performance KPIs, maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, and expand the channel footprint through new account acquisition. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement sales strategies for assigned retail, food service, and gas & convenience channels in Canada and the U.S. - Manage key retail accounts, including national banners, regional distributors, and brokers. - Monitor performance, analyze market data, identify growth opportunities, and report ROI. - Coordinate with Marketing, Operations, and Finance on promotions, product launches, and pricing. - Oversee listing, planogram development, and seasonal programming. - Conduct regular business reviews to strengthen partner relationships. - Identify and secure new retail opportunities to expand channel reach. - Ensure adherence to channel policies, regulations, and operational standards. Required Skills: - Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication abilities. - Proven experience in channel or account management within CPG, F&B, or retail. - Knowledge of retail operations, merchandising, and shopper marketing. - Leadership and team management skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM and retail analytics tools. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. - 5+ years of relevant channel/account management experience.
