Job Title: Procurement Analyst
Job Description: **Job Title** Procurement Analyst – Category Specialist **Role Summary** Support strategic sourcing, supplier management, and cost optimization for electrical construction projects. Drive category strategy, conduct spend and market analysis, manage contracts, and improve procurement processes while ensuring compliance and KPI attainment. **Expectations** - Deliver actionable insights through spend analysis and market research. - Contribute to cost‑saving initiatives and accurate budgeting/forecasting. - Maintain high standards of data integrity and audit readiness. - Communicate findings clearly to cross‑functional stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop and execute category strategies for electrical materials and equipment. - Perform market research, supplier benchmarking, and assist in RFx processes and bid evaluations. - Conduct detailed spend analysis, identify trends, inefficiencies, and cost‑reduction opportunities. - Create and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and reports using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools. - Monitor supplier performance, adherence to contracts, quality, and delivery metrics. - Maintain supplier records, contracts, and performance scorecards; support contract negotiations. - Identify process improvement opportunities and ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations. - Leverage ERP and e‑procurement platforms for data extraction, automation, and performance monitoring. - Ensure accurate procurement transaction records for audit readiness. **Required Skills** - Analytical & critical‑thinking skills; strong quantitative ability. - Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial functions). - Experience in spend analysis, financial modeling, and data interpretation. - Proficiency with dashboard tools (Power BI preferred). - Solid written and verbal communication; ability to present complex data. - Understanding of procurement processes in construction/engineering. - Familiarity with ERP/e‑procurement systems and contract management. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field. - Minimum 2 years procurement, purchasing, or supply‑chain analysis experience. - No mandatory certifications required; professional procurement certification (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is advantageous.
