Job Description
**Job Title** Junior Support Engineer **Role Summary** Provide first‑line technical assistance to customers and field engineers, manage internal IT operations, and support system commissioning. Works independently, diagnoses issues remotely and onsite, maintains accurate records, and ensures seamless deployment of customer equipment. **Expectations** - Deliver timely, effective support that meets customer SLA targets. - Document and improve support procedures. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and third‑party engineers. - Maintain high accuracy in system records and reporting. **Key Responsibilities** - Liaise with customers to provide technical support and conduct remote diagnostics. - Implement repair solutions, develop support procedures, and maintain records. - Assist engineers with on‑site and remote system commissioning; process data and prepare reports. - Set up, test, and maintain customer laptops, tablets, and related devices; install software and perform acceptance tests. - Support daily IT operations, including server and staff device maintenance, updates, and backups. **Required Skills** - 1+ year experience in IT support or a comparable technical role. - Strong ICT knowledge, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving ability. - Self‑directed work style, decisive under pressure. - Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail. - Strong verbal and written communication; interpersonal skills. - Proactive, hands‑on “can‑do” attitude with commercial awareness. **Required Education & Certifications** - High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical qualification preferred. - IT certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Network+ considered an asset. ---
