**Job title:** Data Scientist
**Role Summary:**
Lead end‑to‑end healthcare data science projects, driving evidence‑based insights and AI model development to improve health outcomes, operational efficiency, and service delivery across a multi‑modal data environment.
**Expectations:**
- Minimum 1 year of data science experience in a healthcare or clinical context.
- Advanced knowledge of medical statistics, epidemiology, and population health.
- Proven ability to translate analytical results into actionable decision‑making for clinicians and business stakeholders.
- Strong command of Python, SQL, and cloud platforms (Snowflake, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and Azure DevOps tools.
- Commitment to regulatory compliance (GDPR, DPA) and responsible AI practices.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design and execute healthcare data science projects, including business case development, data processing, EDA, and statistical analysis.
- Build and validate machine‑learning and predictive models on structured, unstructured, and semi‑structured healthcare data.
- Evaluate and prioritize emerging AI opportunities, delivering measurable improvements in health outcomes and operational metrics.
- Serve as a health data SME, collaborating with clinicians, operational managers, and global teams to develop new use cases and share knowledge.
- Manage data pipelines, ensuring data quality and accessibility for analytical initiatives.
- Support end‑to‑end AI and GenAI projects: concept, architecture, model building, and deployment.
- Uphold compliance with regulatory frameworks and internal Responsible AI guidelines.
**Required Skills:**
- Clinical data science expertise (medical statistics, epidemiology, survival analysis, regression, longitudinal analyses).
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud‑based data platforms (Snowflake, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with machine‑learning infrastructure, scalable ML platforms, and model deployment.
- Agile project management using Azure DevOps tools (Boards, Repos, Pipelines).
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present complex concepts to non‑technical audiences.
- Curiosity‑driven mindset, proactive learning, and strong analytical problem‑solving.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Data Science, Statistics, Epidemiology, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or related field.
- Any relevant data‑science or ML certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate, Google Professional Data Engineer) preferred.
