Job Description
**Job Title** Technical Support Technician – GTB/GTC Solutions **Role Summary** Provide on‑demand technical assistance to users of GTB (Building Management System) / GTC (Building Automation) solutions within an industrial SME committed to energy transition. Deliver timely support, troubleshoot and resolve issues, guide users, and support site deployments, while maintaining strong user confidence and service quality. **Expectations** - Act as primary point of contact for technical issues via phone, email, and ticketing system. - Analyze incidents, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions. - Escalate critical failures to internal teams and coordinate onsite interventions. - Document and update user manuals, tutorials, FAQs, and internal knowledge base. - Participate in occasional field deployments (setup, commissioning, training). - Drive continuous improvement of support processes and service quality. **Key Responsibilities** - Receive and triage user requests, conduct situational analysis, and deliver solutions or guidance. - Communicate explanations and troubleshooting steps clearly to non‑technical users. - Monitor system logs and alarms, detect anomalies, and trigger appropriate internal actions. - Schedule, oversee, and confirm completion of onsite service calls. - Contribute to the creation and refinement of documentation and training materials. - Review and propose enhancements to support workflows, tools, and knowledge base content. **Required Skills** - Basic knowledge of electricity, electrotechnics, automation, and building regulation. - Proficiency with standard PC tools and ticketing/CRM systems. - Strong diagnostic ability and organizational mindset. - Clear, concise verbal and written communication. - Team orientation and customer‑focused attitude. - Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment. **Required Education & Certifications** - Minimum 2 years of a Bac+2 (equivalent) in Industrial, Technical, or Support fields. - Equivalent technical training or experience accepted. - Certifications in electrical or automation domains are a plus.
