**Job Title**
Intelligence and Technical Analyst
**Role Summary**
A foundation role within a new analytical and technical function, combining digital research, intelligence analysis, workflow design, and technical problem‑solving. The analyst works closely with senior leaders to develop processes, deliver analytical outputs, and progressively own the capability as it expands.
**Expectations**
- Deliver accurate, structured research and intelligence assessments.
- Design, automate, and refine internal workflows and data pipelines.
- Maintain high data quality, documentation, and audit trails.
- Learn new digital tools rapidly and apply them to operational needs.
- Exhibit strong analytical thinking, detail orientation, and initiative.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct structured research across digital and open‑source sources.
- Identify patterns, insights, and risk indicators; produce concise written reports.
- Build and refine data workflows, leveraging automation tools (Make.com, Zapier, APIs).
- Support implementation, testing, and monitoring of digital platforms and dashboards.
- Ensure data intake, onboarding, and quality checks meet internal standards.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, reporting frameworks, and operational standards.
- Gradually increase ownership of consistent analytical output as the division scales.
**Required Skills**
- Proficiency in digital research and open‑source intelligence (OSINT).
- Comfort with automation and workflow tools; willingness to learn new platforms.
- Ability to work with both structured and unstructured data.
- Experience with dashboards, monitoring, and alerting systems.
- Strong analytical reasoning, problem‑solving, and detail orientation.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Degree in Cyber Security, Intelligence, Criminology, Information Security, Data, Digital Forensics, International Relations, or related field (optional).
- Equivalent practical experience acceptable.
- OSINT‑related courses (e.g., SANS, Bellingcat, OSINT Combine) or foundational cyber training such as CompTIA Security+ (optional).
