**Job Title:** Business Development Manager **Role Summary:** Drive commercial growth for a space technology company by identifying new business opportunities, accelerating existing deals, and cultivating long‑term client relationships. Work closely with engineering and technology teams to align solutions with market needs and support the commercialization of advanced satellite products. **Expectations:** - Achieve and exceed quarterly sales targets. - Secure new and renew existing contracts in a dynamic, high‑growth environment. - Maintain a proactive pipeline of prospects and close deals within defined timelines. - Represent the company professionally at conferences and industry events. - Travel occasionally (within reasonable limits). **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and maintain strategic relationships with governmental, commercial, and scientific customers. - Identify, qualify, and pursue new market segments and revenue streams. - Coordinate cross‑functional commercial efforts (engineering, technology, finance). - Prepare and deliver tailored proposals, responding to RFPs and developing contract terms. - Negotiate and close agreements while ensuring alignment with company standards and policies. - Monitor space‑industry trends, capabilities, and best practices to inform strategy. - Maintain accurate activity records in CRM and provide regular reporting to management. - Uphold high integrity and serve as a positive ambassador for the organization. **Required Skills:** - Minimum of 5 years sales experience in an international technology or space‑industry setting. - Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals. - Deep understanding of purchase processes, RFP procedures, proposal development, and contract negotiation. - Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot). - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English. - Strong networking within the aerospace sector. - Energetic, proactive, and collaborative mindset; thrives in teamwork. - Willingness to travel as needed. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. - Relevant certifications in sales, space industry regulations, or project management preferred but not mandatory. ---
