**Job Title:** Cloud Administrator **Role Summary:** Manage, secure, and optimize Azure and on‑premises infrastructures to ensure high availability, operational excellence, and seamless integration across hybrid environments. **Expectations:** - Deliver 24x7 operational support with a proactive focus on performance and uptime. - Drive automation, IaC, and DevOps practices for scalable, repeatable deployments. - Maintain strong governance, security posture, and compliance across all platforms. **Key Responsibilities:** - Administer, monitor, and optimize Azure cloud environments, enforcing security and governance best practices. - Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and related frameworks. - Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions for repeatable, scalable deployments. - Support DevOps workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and automated provisioning. - Integrate systems via RESTful APIs and web services. - Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized workloads (Docker, LXD). - Maintain monitoring, alerting, and capacity management for maximum uptime. - Manage and maintain on‑premises infrastructure (servers, storage, virtualization). - Facilitate workload migrations across SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS. - Administer type‑1 hypervisors (Hyper‑V, XenServer, HPE Morpheus). - Support Linux environments (Ubuntu, SUSE). - Respond to on‑call duties and occasional travel (≤25%). **Required Skills:** - 3+ years of systems/cloud administration experience. - Proven Azure administration and security expertise. - Scripting proficiency: PowerShell, Azure CLI. - IaC experience (Terraform, ARM, Bicep). - DevOps knowledge (CI/CD, automation frameworks). - RESTful API integration skills. - Containerization experience (Docker, LXD). - Monitoring/alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor). - 24x7 operational support experience in enterprise settings. - On‑prem infrastructure management and workload migration. - Hyper‑V, XenServer, HPE Morpheus proficiency. - Linux administration (Ubuntu, SUSE). - Strong oral/written communication and prioritization skills. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred). - Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (preferred). - Additional certifications (e.g., Red Hat Certified System Administrator, Docker Certified Associate) are a plus.
