Job Description

The Cloud Administrator is responsible for managing, securing, and optimizing T5’s cloud and on‑premises infrastructure. This role ensures high availability, operational excellence, and seamless integration across hybrid environments. The ideal candidate brings strong Azure expertise, automation skills, and hands‑on experience supporting enterprise‑scale systems.

Responsibilities

Administer, monitor, and optimize Azure cloud environments, ensuring adherence to security and governance best practices.
Develop and maintain automation scripts and tooling using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and related frameworks.
Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to support scalable, repeatable deployments.
Support DevOps workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and automated provisioning processes.
Integrate systems and applications using RESTful APIs and web services.
Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized workloads using Docker and LXD.
Maintain robust monitoring, alerting, and capacity management processes to ensure maximum uptime and performance.
Manage and maintain on-premises infrastructure, including servers, storage, and virtualization platforms.
Support workload migrations across SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS environments.
Administer and troubleshoot type 1 hypervisors including Hyper V, XenServer, and HPE Morpheus.
Manage and support Linux systems, specifically Ubuntu and SUSE distributions.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Adhere to all Federal and Local Safety laws
Follow T5 data center corporate policies and procedures
All other duties consistent with your role as you may be assigned by T5FM management

On call as needed

Travel Requirements:

The normal up to 25% travel

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum 3 years of relevant systems/cloud experience.
Proven expertise in Azure cloud administration and security best practices.
Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Azure CLI).
Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC), automation frameworks, and DevOps workflows.
Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services for integrating platforms and applications.
Proven skillset with containerized workflows; Docker and LXD containers
Skilled in monitoring, alerting, and capacity management to ensure high up time.
Experience providing 24x7 on going operational support in enterprise environments.
Experience maintaining on-premises infrastructure and migrating workloads to cloud (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS).
Working knowledge of on-prem type-1 hypervisors; Hyper-V, Xen Server and HPE Morpheus.
Experience with Ubuntu and Suse Linux
