Job Description

**Job Title:** Senior Microsoft Cloud Engineer – Modern Work Specialist **Role Summary:** Lead the design, implementation, and support of Microsoft 365 and Azure solutions for new and existing clients. Drive end‑to‑end deployments, establish service baselines, and mentor junior engineers. Provide expert technical support and escalation handling, ensuring secure, performant, and operationally efficient cloud environments. **Expectations:** - Execute successful pilots and market launches of Microsoft cloud products. - Maintain and evolve security baselines and operational standards. - Mentor and collaborate with cross‑functional teams and peers. - Deliver high‑quality documentation and automation for repeatable deployments. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deploy and optimize Microsoft M365 and Azure solutions for new clients. - Migrate client data and applications to cloud environments. - Conduct system/application testing and performance tuning. - Provide onboarding support and ongoing technical assistance. - Perform service engagements for existing customers. - Review customer hosted applications, recommend design improvements. - Define and implement baselines, standards, and automation artifacts (templates, images, policies). - Create process documentation for product support. - Administer cloud management tools (Backup, MDR, etc.). - Research and recommend emerging tools and technologies. - Participate in on‑call rotation and after‑hours support as required. **Required Skills:** - Deep expertise in Microsoft M365 and Azure cloud environments. - Proficiency in at least two of: server/desktop management, patch management, email architecture, backup technologies, vulnerability management, network architecture. - Scripting and automation with PowerShell or Python. - Knowledge of security frameworks (NIST CSF, CIS CSC). - Understanding of Active Directory, EDR, firewalls, and service management concepts. - Strong communication, organizational, and self‑motivation skills. - Ability to work independently and guide teammates toward process improvement. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field **or** equivalent combination of education and experience. - Current certifications in Microsoft 365 or Microsoft Azure (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, etc.).
