Job title: Salesforce Data Engineer
Role Summary:
Senior technical specialist responsible for architecting, managing, and governing complex data solutions across multiple Salesforce environments, including Public Sector Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud. Drives scalable ETL pipelines, API integrations, data modeling, and data governance to support digital transformation and AI/ML initiatives.
Expactations:
- Successfully complete data architecture, integration, and governance projects on time and within scope.
- Maintain high data quality, consistency, and performance across all Salesforce orgs.
- Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams (product owners, AI/ML specialists, data governance, business stakeholders).
- Deliver technical leadership and mentorship in Salesforce data engineering best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines, ETL processes, and APIs between Salesforce and external systems.
- Optimize data ingestion, transformation, and storage within Salesforce data architecture best practices.
- Lead data modeling, normalization, and performance strategy for Public Sector Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
- Oversee data migration, cleansing, deduplication, and quality initiatives.
- Develop and deploy AI‑powered agents, predictive models, and generative AI tools (e.g., Einstein GPT) integration with Salesforce data.
- Implement and support data governance frameworks, standards, naming conventions, business glossaries, and metadata management.
- Document integration architectures, cleansing initiatives, and governance processes.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to project teams.
Required Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Salesforce data architecture, ETL, data modeling, APIs, and integrations.
- Strong expertise in MuleSoft integration patterns, API design, and data flow optimization.
- Experience designing and deploying AI/ML solutions within a Salesforce environment.
- Solid understanding of data governance, quality management, and metadata practices.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a hybrid, cross‑functional team and manage multiple concurrent projects.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Salesforce Platform Developer II (minimum 4–6 years experience).
- Salesforce Certified MuleSoft Developer (minimum 4–6 years experience).
- Salesforce Certified Platform Data Architect (7–9 years experience).
- Salesforce Certified MuleSoft Platform Architect (7–9 years experience).
- Proven experience in large enterprise or public‑sector environments is preferred.
