Job Title: Senior Manager, Insights & Analytics
Role Summary:
Drive data‑driven decision making for the UK affiliate, transforming market, competitor, customer and brand information into actionable insights that shape portfolio strategy and commercial performance. Act as a strategic partner to affiliate leaders, integrating analytics across business units, monitoring performance, and delivering robust forecasting and reporting. Lead the design of sales‑force effectiveness and incentive compensation frameworks, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Expactations:
- Deliver integrated market, competitor, customer, and brand insights.
- Provide portfolio forecasts, scenario analysis, and risk monitoring.
- Maintain and enhance dashboards, core reports, and data quality processes.
- Drive continuous improvement of analytics capabilities and methodologies.
- Serve as a trusted advisory partner and data champion within the Affiliate Leadership Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with BU heads, GMs and cross‑functional teams to align insights with strategic priorities.
- Conduct primary/secondary research, translate findings into clear recommendations.
- Develop and update portfolio forecasts with Finance and Market Access teams; support scenario modelling.
- Manage core dashboards (Insights360), KPIs, commentary and data delivery for senior leadership.
- Design, implement and optimize Sales‑Force Effectiveness frameworks, including segmentation and call planning.
- Design and administer local Incentive Compensation plans, ensuring accurate calculations and effectiveness analysis.
- Oversee customer data maintenance, vendor coordination and other data operations; apply project management to deliver high‑quality outcomes.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of business analysis/insights experience in pharma or commercial excellence.
- Proven expertise in SFE & IC analytics, forecasting, market research, dashboarding, and portfolio insights.
- Advanced analytical, research, planning, forecasting and project‑management capabilities.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint proficiency; data‑visualisation experience (Tableau, Power BI) preferred.
- Advanced Python knowledge preferred.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and presentation skills.
- High attention to detail, customer‑centric mindset, ability to manage multiple priorities, outcome‑focused.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, Business or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in analytics, data science or business strategy are an advantage.
