Job title Graduate Recruitment Consultant Role Summary Support the Private Equity team by conducting candidate sourcing, market mapping, and research to assist consultants on both retained and contingent searches. Engage candidates, prepare research reports, facilitate client interactions, and contribute to the creation of executive search deliverables, while progressing toward a consultant role. Key Responsibilities - Identify, approach, and engage potential candidates through LinkedIn, referrals, and internal databases. - Conduct in‑depth market mapping, trend analysis, and talent identification in the private equity market. - Produce detailed research reports for the team to inform headhunt searches and client intelligence packs. - Perform initial candidate conversations and interviews to assess suitability. - Support consultants in client meetings, pitches, and candidate shortlist presentations. - Create CV summaries, market maps, and other research documentation. - Monitor financial news and sector trends to maintain commercial awareness. - Coordinate interview logistics and manage ongoing candidate/client communications. Required Skills - Strong research and analytical abilities. - Proficiency in LinkedIn Recruiter and other candidate sourcing tools. - Excellent written and verbal communication. - Organizational and time‑management skills. - Emotional intelligence and interpersonal sensitivity. - Ability to work independently and within a team. Required Education & Certifications - Recent graduate with a strong academic record (any discipline) or a career mover with transferable skills. - No specific certifications required; a demonstrated interest in private equity and executive search is essential.
