Job Title: Country Sales Manager – France Role Summary: Lead the sales strategy and execution for a luxury fragrance brand across France, driving growth through new and existing retail relationships, and ensuring brand positioning aligns with marketing guidelines. Expectations: - Deliver on sales targets and budgeted goals. - Expand market presence by opening new retail accounts and deepening existing partnerships. Key Responsibilities: - Serve as primary contact for regional retailers, including department stores, independent shops, and chain stores. - Build, nurture, and expand relationships with key retail partners. - Develop and implement regional action plans to advance brand presence. - Define budgets with senior management and track performance against targets. - Conduct regular store visits to build rapport and monitor brand representation. - Ensure accurate pricing, display, and stock levels in stores. - Execute marketing plan – seasonal campaigns, product launches, and promotional activities. - Negotiate in‑store opportunities and maintain brand visibility for key promotions. - Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and store performance data. - Provide monthly sales, travel, and meeting reports to the International Sales Director. - Plan and deliver training for store managers and beauty advisors. - Manage stock ordering, shipment coordination, and customer complaints. Required Skills: - Minimum 3–4 years retail experience in the luxury perfume industry. - Fluency in English and French. - Deep understanding of department store, distributor, direct, and wholesale channels. - Goal‑oriented, self‑motivated, and able to work independently. - Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. - Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities. - Proven network of key French department stores and independent retailers. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred (not mandatory). - No specific certifications required.
