**Job Title**
Finance & Operations Associate
**Role Summary**
Support the CFO of an early‑stage venture capital fund with end‑to‑end finance and operational functions, ensuring accurate reporting, seamless capital movements, and robust compliance while contributing to process improvement initiatives.
**Expectations**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Prepare quarterly fund reports and portfolio data for investors.
- Track capital calls, distributions, and issue investor notices.
- Process payments, invoices, and perform account reconciliations.
- Maintain internal controls, record‑keeping, and compliance logs.
- Manage investor onboarding, flow‑of‑funds, and cap‑table updates.
- Contribute to operational projects and suggest process improvements.
**Required Skills**
- Strong foundation in fund operations or investment administration (VC/PE, startup, fintech).
- Excellent spreadsheet (Excel) and data handling abilities.
- Detail‑oriented, organized, and highly reliable.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Adaptable, curious, and proactive ownership mindset.
**Nice‑to‑Have Skills**
- Experience with capital call processing, LP reporting, KYC/AML, and cap‑tables.
- Familiarity with SAFEs, valuations, and venture‑fund terminology.
- Comfortable with finance and workflow software (e.g., Excel, SQL, or relevant fund‑management tools).
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in VC/PE fund administration, startup or fintech investment operations, or audit/accounting.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CMA) is an advantage but not mandatory.
