**Job Title**: Software Quality Manager **Role Summary** Lead the quality assurance function in a fast‑moving technology environment, defining, measuring, and improving quality across multiple product lines. Own the end‑to‑end QA life cycle within Agile/SCRUM teams, drive automation strategy, and ensure high‑standard releases for web and API products. **Expectations** - Own the QA strategy and continuously evolve processes to support scaling. - Influence cross‑functional product quality, from e‑commerce to retail experiences. - Champion best practices and establish a lightweight center of excellence for quality. - Communicate quality metrics and release readiness clearly to stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities** - Partner with technology and business teams to set quality bars for new launches. - Own and evolve the QA life cycle within Agile/SCRUM workflows. - Define user stories, acceptance criteria, and test coverage (manual & automated). - Maintain site performance monitoring and reporting. - Lead accessibility compliance testing cycles. - Create, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases. - Detect, isolate, document, and prioritize defects. - Provide QA status and product quality metrics to cross‑functional teams. - Build a lightweight QA center of excellence within the organization. **Required Skills** - 5+ years in QA engineering, with leadership or mentorship experience. - Strong collaboration with technical and non‑technical stakeholders. - Proficiency in bug/test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.). - Experience with Web/API testing tools (Postman, Charles, Fiddler). - Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps integration. - Hands‑on experience with automated testing frameworks (Playwright, WebdriverIO, etc.). - Familiarity with AI‑assisted testing tools or strategies. - Proactive, curious, and committed to continuous quality improvement. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. - Certifications such as ISTQB Advanced Test Manager or equivalent preferred.
