**Job Title:** Country Manager – UK & Nordics (FMCG) **Role Summary:** Leads commercial development for a fast‑moving consumer goods company across the United Kingdom and Nordic countries. Owns market growth strategy, retailer relationships, and cross‑functional alignment while travelling regularly within the region. **Expectations:** - Deliver revenue and profit targets for the UK and Nordics. - Build and sustain high‑level partnerships with national retailers. - Drive category‑management initiatives and negotiate mutually beneficial agreements. - Provide leadership and coaching to sales teams to elevate performance. - Ensure seamless coordination with marketing, supply‑chain, and finance functions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Define and execute commercial strategy for the assigned markets. - Manage and expand relationships with major UK retailers (e.g., Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda, Morrisons) and key Nordic partners. - Lead negotiations, contract development, and win‑win deal structuring. - Implement category‑management programs to improve shelf visibility and sales. - Coach sales staff on objection handling, account planning, and closing techniques. - Conduct market, competitor, and consumer insight analysis to inform tactics. - Align operational plans with cross‑functional teams to ensure execution excellence. **Required Skills:** - Proven FMCG sales/account‑management experience (5+ years). - Deep knowledge of UK retail landscape; familiarity with Nordic markets advantageous. - Strong negotiation, category‑management, and complex‑account handling abilities. - Excellent communication, leadership, and team‑coaching skills. - Ability to operate in multicultural, fast‑paced environments. - Proactive, results‑driven mindset. - Fluency in English; French or a Nordic language is a plus. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). - No specific certifications required; FMCG industry credentials considered a plus.
