Job Description

**Job Title:** Data Scientist – Experience & Engagement Analytics **Role Summary:** Provide strategic analytical leadership to improve player experience and support operations. Partner with Player Care, data engineering, marketing, and product teams to transform large, complex datasets into actionable insights that drive business decisions and enhance in‑game performance. **Expectations:** * Deliver data‑driven recommendations that influence operational and business outcomes. * Own ambiguous projects from data acquisition through insight delivery. * Communicate findings clearly to technical and non‑technical stakeholders. * Maintain high‑quality, self‑service dashboards and analyses. **Key Responsibilities:** - Collaborate with Player Care and data engineering to clean, model, and analyze support interaction data. - Identify trends, pain points, and improvement opportunities in player support and engagement. - Develop and present data‑based recommendations to leadership and operational teams. - Measure impact of out‑of‑game initiatives by correlating with in‑game performance metrics. - Integrate player‑care findings into broader analytics pipelines and reports. - Support marketing/consumer product ROI analyses of out‑of‑game touchpoints. - Build and maintain Power BI dashboards for stakeholder self‑service. - Work with high‑volume, high‑dimensional datasets from multiple sources. - Drive projects independently in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment. **Required Skills:** - Minimum 5 years of data analytics/data science experience. - Proficient in SQL for complex data extraction and manipulation. - Strong Python programming for statistical analysis and data manipulation. - Experience with data modeling, statistical inference, and hypothesis testing. - Skilled in building and maintaining dashboards using Power BI or similar tools. - Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication abilities. - Strong problem‑solving, analytical judgment, and autonomy in project ownership. - Ability to collaborate across cross‑functional teams. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related analytical field. - (No mandatory certifications specified, but data science or analytics certifications are advantageous.)
