Job Title: Senior .NET Developer
Role Summary: Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance, secure ASP.NET Core web applications and RESTful APIs, delivering enterprise‑grade solutions across the full development lifecycle in an Agile environment.
Expectations:
- Deliver robust, scalable, and secure applications that meet functional, performance, and security standards.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA, and other developers to shape architecture and best practices.
- Provide technical mentorship and contribute to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain web applications using ASP.NET Core, Razor Pages/MVC, and RESTful services.
- Build responsive UIs with Telerik UI controls or equivalent third‑party libraries; develop dynamic, metadata‑driven forms and configurable components.
- Implement role‑based authentication and authorization, applying secure coding principles.
- Write efficient SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and functions; perform migrations, indexing, and performance tuning.
- Deploy, host, and secure applications on Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, etc.) using Azure security services (Key Vault, Managed Identities).
- Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Boards) or Git; automate builds, tests, and deployments.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, manage backlogs via Azure DevOps or Jira, and conduct sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Conduct code reviews, architectural discussions, and mentor junior team members.
- Troubleshoot production issues, analyze root causes, and implement preventive measures.
Required Skills:
- ASP.NET Core (C#), Razor Pages/MVC, RESTful API development.
- Front‑end UI proficiency with Telerik UI controls or similar, plus knowledge of NPM and JavaScript libraries.
- Authentication & Authorization (RBAC), secure application design and best practices.
- SQL Server: query optimization, stored procedures, migrations, indexing, and tuning.
- Microsoft Azure: App Services, Azure Functions, Key Vault, Managed Identities, Azure Security.
- Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Boards) or Git for CI/CD; experience configuring pipelines.
- Agile/Scrum methodologies; familiarity with Azure DevOps or Jira.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum 7 years of professional .NET development delivering production‑grade applications.
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate or Microsoft Certified: .NET Developer are desirable but not mandatory.
