**Job Title** Director Communications & Marketing **Role Summary** Oversee strategic and operational communications and marketing for a six‑year horizon (2026‑2029). Lead brand positioning, campaign planning, digital initiatives, and public relations while aligning marketing with operations, sales, and executive strategy. Manage budgets, teams, and performance dashboards to drive business objectives and customer experience enhancements during a maternity leave replacement period. **Expectations** - Deliver measurable brand growth and marketing ROI within a 12‑month replacement contract. - Integrate smoothly with existing projects, maintaining continuity and evolving strategies for the next fiscal cycle. - Provide actionable insights to senior leadership and influence key business decisions. **Key Responsibilities** 1. **Governance & Strategy** * Execute and evolve the 2026‑2029 strategic plan. * Adjust 2026 marketing plan, forecast 2027 iterations. * Allocate and monitor marketing budget; ensure optimal spend. * Align marketing priorities with operations, sales, and executive directives. * Lead weekly kick‑offs, marketing committees, and board presentations. * Coach and develop the marketing team. 2. **Performance & Analytics** * Develop dashboards, track sales & campaign metrics, recommend adjustments. * Conduct competitive intelligence (pricing, market trends). * Collaborate cross‑functionally to improve customer experience and loyalty based on survey data. 3. **Digital Marketing** * Supervise SEO, GEO, SEM, email, and social media strategies. * Manage partner‑sponsored campaigns and performance reporting. 4. **Brand, PR & Influence** * Uphold brand voice and editorial line across all touchpoints. * Define PR, influencer, event, partnership, and sponsorship strategies. * Oversee execution of public‑relations agreements and support event activations. **Required Skills** - Strategic planning and program management. - Budgeting and financial stewardship. - Digital marketing expertise (SEO, GEO, SEM, email). - Strong public‑relations and media‑relations capability. - Leadership, team coaching, and stakeholder collaboration. - Data‑driven decision making and analytical reporting. - Fluency in French; working knowledge of English. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Marketing, Communications, or related field. - Minimum 3 years of experience in strategic marketing or communications management.
