Job Description

Job Title: Data Analyst (Merchandising / Ecommerce) Role Summary: Provide data integrity and analytic support for merchandising and e‑commerce operations, ensuring accurate product line data, generating ad hoc reports, and facilitating cross‑functional communication. Expectations: - Deliver reliable data solutions within tight deadlines. - Act independently while collaborating with Category Merchandising, Production, Logistics, Merchandise Development, and Project Management teams. - Maintain meticulous attention to detail and data consistency. - Manage multiple priorities and changing requirements with tolerance for ambiguity. Key Responsibilities: - Serve as liaison among merchandising, production, logistics, development, and project management. - Develop, implement, and manage scalable merchandising processes. - Independently enter, validate, and maintain product data across systems. - Support rollout of new systems by validating integration and ensuring data accuracy. - Create ad hoc reports (e.g., inventory, sales, management requests). - Coordinate and prepare for meetings and other assignments. Required Skills: - 1–2 years experience in product, merchandising, retail sales, or buying. - Analytical proficiency and understanding of merchandising KPIs. - Strong verbal and written communication (both formal and informal). - Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines. - Detail‑oriented with a focus on data consistency and quality. - Critical thinking and analytical problem‑solving. - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint). Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, Marketing, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and 1 year relevant experience.
