**Job Title** Senior .NET Developer **Role Summary** Lead design, development, and delivery of a web migration project replacing a legacy WPF application. Extend an existing .NET API stack using SQL Server, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, implement robust identity and authorization, and ensure high‑quality, maintainable code in a fast‑moving, autonomous environment. **Expectations** - Minimum 5 years of professional .NET development. - Proven ability to work independently within a sparse documentation environment. - Strong focus on clean architecture, test‑driven development, and production‑grade reliability. - Capacity to influence stakeholders, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and own end‑to‑end feature delivery. - Self‑starter who thrives in a startup/scale‑up context and seeks tangible impact. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Build and enhance .NET (C#) API features integrated with SQL Server. 2. Drive feature‑by‑feature migration of a WPF application to web, prioritizing usability and maintainability. 3. Translate business needs into clear technical designs and implementation plans. 4. Implement identity management and secure data isolation/authorization. 5. Work with Azure DevOps pipelines, improving CI/CD processes and ensuring reliable deployments. 6. Develop and execute pragmatic tests for calculation‑heavy functionality to raise product quality. 7. Collaborate with stakeholders, providing technical guidance and managing expectations. **Required Skills** - Proficient in .NET Core (C#), SQL Server, Entity Framework Core, and RESTful API design. - Experience with Azure DevOps/Pipelines, CI/CD, and source control best practices. - Strong understanding of identity management, authentication, and authorization. - Hands‑on experience with automated testing, unit/integration testing, and code quality tools. - Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities. - Problem‑solving mindset with a focus on maintainable, production‑ready code. **Nice to Have** - Full‑stack experience (Next.js/Node.js). - Azure App Services, basic networking, and monitoring. - Prior migration considerations (e.g., SQL Server ↔ PostgreSQL). - Familiarity with cost‑conscious platform decisions. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. - Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate) preferred but not mandatory.
