The Opportunity

For a client engagement, we are looking for a senior .NET developer who can help accelerate the delivery of a web migration project for an existing production system.

Your responsabilities

Build and extend features in a .NET (API) + SQL Server stack.
Contribute to the web migration of a legacy WPF application (feature-by-feature, with a focus on usability and maintainability).
Collaborate with the client stakeholders to translate business needs into clear technical implementation.
Support integration work and ensure proper data isolation and authorization.
Experience with Identity Management
Work with existing Azure DevOps pipelines and contribute to improving CI/CD where needed.
Help raise quality via pragmatic testing approaches and careful validation of calculation-heavy functionality.

Qualifications

We’re seeking someone who can step into an existing codebase and deliver independently, with a strong focus on quality and pragmatism:

You are a senior developer (5 years+ experience), this is a MUST
You can work autonomously and take ownership of design and delivery.
You are comfortable working in an environment with limited documentation and learning through code + stakeholder conversations.
You value clean engineering, maintainable code and production-grade delivery.
You thrive in a start-up / scale-up environment and enjoy having impact.

Nice to have

Full-stack experience with Next.js / Node.js.
Experience with Entity Framework (EF) Core, migrations and modern API design.
Experience with Azure (App Services, networking basics, monitoring) and improving observability.
Interest in cost-conscious platform decisions (e.g. SQL Server vs PostgreSQL migration considerations).
