Job Description
Job title: Network Support Analyst Role Summary: Junior analyst responsible for first‑line incident support and foundational network troubleshooting. Works with senior engineers to maintain stability and performance of critical financial services infrastructure, including firewalls, proxies, DNS, and routing. Expectations: - 0–12 months of incident support or related experience (internship, projects, or prior role). - Demonstrate learning agility and growth mindset within a regulated environment. - Deliver timely, documented resolutions while adhering to SLAs. - Own and lead troubleshooting sessions with cross‑functional teams. Key Responsibilities: - Respond to, triage, and resolve first‑line incidents in accordance with incident management processes. - Escalate to L3 support as needed, applying networking fundamentals. - Participate in, and at times lead, technical troubleshooting sessions. - Monitor service performance, analyze trends, and recommend reliability improvements. - Maintain accurate documentation, knowledge base entries, and compliance with internal policies. Required Skills: - Foundational understanding of networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, proxies. - Incident support and incident management experience. - Strong time‑management and prioritisation in fast‑paced environments. - Proficient troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication; collaborative mindset. - Willingness to learn and progress within enterprise‑scale IT operations.
