**Job Title** Application Developer/Programmer – DevOps / Data Platform Engineer **Role Summary** Design, develop, and maintain cloud‑native backend services and data platforms using Java (Spring Boot). Collaborate in an Agile environment to deliver scalable microservices, integrate Kafka, Kubernetes/Helm, CI/CD pipelines, and observability solutions. **Expectations** - Deliver high‑quality, maintainable code within sprint timelines. - Operate effectively on cloud‑native infrastructure and pipelines. - Champion continuous improvement and automation practices. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop and maintain Java (Spring Boot) backend applications. - Build and maintain Kubernetes/Helm deployments for microservices. - Implement and manage Kafka messaging integration. - Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git. - Automate infrastructure and configuration with Ansible. - Integrate Elasticsearch or related data/observability components. - Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate cross‑functionally. **Required Skills** - Strong backend development experience in Java / Spring Boot. - Proficiency with Kafka, Kubernetes, and Helm. - Experience building CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git). - Automation competency with Ansible. - Knowledge of Elasticsearch or similar search/data technologies. - Comfortable with microservices and cloud‑native environments. - Effective communication and teamwork. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Relevant certifications in Java/Spring, Kubernetes, or CI/CD tools are a plus.
