Job Title: Cyber Security Project - rationalisation legacy IT landscape
Location: Belgium (Hybrid)

Our client, a global industry leader, is embarking on a major digital transformation journey. To support this ambitious program, we are looking for a seasoned Senior Solution Architect to spearhead the rationalization and modernization of a complex legacy IT landscape.
This is a high-impact, strategic role at the core of an international technology overhaul.
The Mission
As a Solution Architect, you will be the technical authority driving the analysis, design, and transformation of legacy solutions across multiple domains and hosting environments. Working hand in hand with internal IT teams, you will ensure future solutions are scalable, secure, business-aligned, and future-proof.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assessing and dissecting legacy systems to define pragmatic rationalization strategies.
Designing target architectures aligned with enterprise roadmaps and industry best practices.
Producing comprehensive design deliverables (infrastructure, application, security, and network diagrams).
Presenting solution options to senior stakeholders, balancing cost, performance, security, and business continuity.
Ensuring smooth integration of new solutions into the existing and target operating models.
Leading and coaching cross-functional IT teams throughout implementation.
Your Profile
We are seeking a proven Solution Architect with experience in complex, international environments.
Required Experience & Technical Expertise (15+ years):
Demonstrated success as a Solution Architect in federated, global organizations.
Strong background in end-to-end solution design across multiple layers (IAM, Cloud, Applications, Network, Security).
Hands-on experience in cloud migration and infrastructure re-platforming projects.
Outstanding analytical skills with the ability to turn complexity into actionable recommendations.
Soft Skills & Leadership:
Excellent communication skills, able to confidently present to and influence C-level stakeholders (CIO, CDO, CISO).
Collaborative mindset with the ability to align diverse stakeholders.
Strong leadership qualities: mentoring, coaching, and guiding technical teams.
Languages:
Fluent in English.
Professional proficiency in French or Dutch required. Both is a strong advantage.
