Job Title: Chief Financial Officer
Role Summary:
Lead finance, investor relations, and market engagement for a publicly listed telehealth company, driving financial stewardship, strategic planning, and capital optimisation to support rapid growth and market leadership.
Expections:
- Deliver accurate, timely financial reporting & analysis for executive and board decisions.
- Build and maintain robust investor relations, communicate equity story, and manage shareholder engagement.
- Champion transformational efficiency initiatives and value‑creation projects.
- Maintain compliance with all statutory, regulatory, listing and internal governance requirements.
- Act as a trusted advisor on capital allocation, funding strategy, M&A, and balance‑sheet optimisations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and run a scalable, technology‑enabled finance function aligned with growth objectives.
- Own investor relations: equity story, market communications, analyst engagement, results presentations, and shareholder relations.
- Drive financial objectives: budgeting, forecasting, long‑range planning, and performance monitoring.
- Provide strategic financial analysis to support CEO and executive decisions.
- Ensure legal, regulatory, statutory, and listing compliance.
- Advise on capital structure, funding, M&A, and balance‑sheet optimisation.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes.
- Build, coach, and develop a high‑performance finance workforce.
- Serve as a liaison between finance and other functions during transformation and system implementations.
Required Skills:
- Certified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
- 10+ years of progressive finance leadership, including financial control, commercial finance, treasury, tax, and capital management.
- Proven experience in a listed PLC environment and investor relations.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication, executive presence, and stakeholder management.
- Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage change.
- Detail‑oriented, organized, and relentless improvement mindset.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Chartered or certified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
