The role: Our new CEO started in January 2025 and is seeking a highly motivated, results‑oriented CFO to join her Executive Leadership Team to lead finance, investor relations and market engagement, financial reporting, governance, and controls across the business.
Demonstrated commercial and strategic leadership in prior roles will be crucial to being a value‑adding member of the Executive Leadership Team. A continuous improvement mindset, alongside excellent organisational skills and strong executive presence, is essential.
The role would suit an individual with experience and confidence in a listed plc environment, ideally from healthcare, financial services or high‑growth technology businesses, with strong stakeholder and investor management capabilities and prior Board‑level exposure.
The CFO will be a key member of DCA's Executive Leadership Team, reporting directly to the CEO and Board.

Requirements
Lead a scalable, technology‑enabled finance function capable of supporting significant and sustained business growth.
Own and lead Investor Relations, including equity story development, market communications, analyst engagement, results presentations, and ongoing shareholder relations.
Drive delivery of ambitious financial objectives and lead transformational efficiency and value‑creation initiatives.
Underwrite the growth and commercial objectives of the CEO with robust data, planning, forecasting, and strategic financial analysis.
Lead financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning processes, ensuring high‑quality decision support for the Executive Leadership Team and Board.
Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, statutory, and listing requirements, as well as DCA policies and governance standards.
Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Board on capital allocation, funding strategy, M&A opportunities, and balance sheet optimisation.
Undertake other activities as reasonably requested that contribute to the overall success of the Company, as directed by the CEO or Board
Candidate Profile
Ideally, but not essential if relevant experience - Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 10+ years' experience spanning financial control, commercial finance, tax, treasury, and capital management.
A proven strategic finance leader who has meaningfully accelerated business performance and delivered sustainable financial results in complex or growth‑stage environments.
Strong ability to provide leadership, constructive challenge and sound judgement to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team, while operating effectively with the Board.
Demonstrable experience leading Investor Relations in a listed environment, including engagement with shareholders, analysts and other capital markets stakeholders.
Experience operating in a listed plc environment, with exposure to M&A, corporate finance, fundraising, and capital allocation strategy.
Prior experience in healthcare or financial services is preferred but not essential. Broad oversight of financial control, reporting, risk management, tax, compliance and governance functions.
Comfortable operating in an entrepreneurial, fast‑moving business with evolving systems and a transformation agenda.
A hands‑on, inclusive and proactive leader who enjoys building high‑performing teams and coaching, mentoring and developing talent.
Brings a continuous improvement mindset alongside excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
