Job Description
Job Title: Finance Assistant Role Summary Support the finance team in daily financial operations, ensuring accurate processing of invoices, payments, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting. Maintain precise records in the CRM, handle client and supplier communications, and provide administrative assistance to sustain efficient financial workflows. Expectations - Deliver high‑quality, error‑free work in a fast‑paced commercial setting. - Prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders. - Demonstrate integrity, discretion, and a proactive attitude toward process improvement. Key Responsibilities - Process accounts payable/receivable, manage invoices, and coordinate supplier payments. - Reconcile accounts, investigate discrepancies, and follow up on outstanding payments. - Update and maintain booking records in the CRM, ensuring data accuracy and consistency. - Conduct regular bank reconciliations and resolve variances. - Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports; support audit documentation and reviews. - Communicate confidently with clients and operators regarding financial queries and documentation. - Provide general administrative support: correspondence, filing, and document management. - Support compliance with company policies, financial regulations, and tax filings. Required Skills - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel. - Strong numerical and analytical abilities. - Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. - Clear, professional written and verbal communication. - Ability to work independently and prioritise in a dynamic environment. - Integrity, discretion, and professionalism. Required Education & Certifications - Minimum of a secondary or higher education qualification in finance, accounting, or related field. - Relevant accounting or finance certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA) preferred but not mandatory.
