Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience)

Working Pattern: 4 days per week in office

About the Role

This role is ideal for someone who is naturally organised, detail-driven and confident working with numbers in a fast-paced commercial environment.

As a Finance Assistant, you will support the finance team across all day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and consistency across accounts, payments, bookings and reporting. This is a critical position within the business, helping to keep financial processes running smoothly while supporting growth and scale.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable & Receivable

·      Process and manage invoices, ensuring timely payments and accurate records

·      Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies

·      Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments

·      Coordinate and process supplier payments

CRM, Data Entry & Record Keeping

·      Update and maintain bookings accurately within the CRM system

·      Ensure all financial information is processed efficiently and correctly

·      Reconcile discrepancies between bookings and financial records

·      Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless data flow and accurate reporting

Bank Reconciliations

·      Perform regular bank reconciliations

·      Investigate and resolve any differences between internal records and bank statements

Financial Reporting

·      Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports

·      Support audits and financial reviews by providing documentation and analysis

Client & Operator Communication

·      Communicate confidently and professionally with clients and operators via phone and email

·      Handle financial queries, payment confirmations and documentation requests to a high standard

·      Act as a reliable point of contact for finance-related matters while maintaining excellent service levels

Administrative Support

·      Provide general administrative support to the finance team

·      Handle correspondence, filing and document management

·      Maintain organised and accessible financial records

Compliance

·      Support compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations

·      Assist with tax filings and regulatory submissions where required

What We’re Looking For

·      Previous experience in a finance, accounting or administrative role is advantageous

·      Confident using accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

·      CRM experience is beneficial but not essential

·      Strong numerical and analytical skills

·      Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability

·      Clear and professional communication skills

·      Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

·      High levels of integrity, discretion and professionalism
