Accounts Assistant/Accounts Payable Assistant

12-month Fixed Term Contract

London – near St Paul’s

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 (DOE)

A leading US law firm with a strong presence in London is seeking a motivated individual to join its London office on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Based close to St Paul’s, this is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their experience within a high-performing international firm.

The Role

Working closely with the Financial Services team, you will provide administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth running of the department. This role would suit a proactive and detail-oriented individual with prior experience in a professional services environment.

Key responsibilities will include:

Providing day-to-day administrative support to the Financial Services team
Assisting with client onboarding and matter opening procedures
Supporting billing, invoicing and financial reporting processes
Liaising with internal teams to ensure compliance with firm procedures
Maintaining accurate records and supporting ad-hoc projects as required

The Ideal Candidate

1–2 years’ experience in a similar role
Experience within a law firm or professional services environment is highly desirable
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Confident communicator with a professional approach
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
