Job title: Sales Manager Role Summary: Lead the commercial penetration of high‑performance prepreg solutions across European aerospace and high‑performance markets. Build and sustain trusted technical relationships, guide customers through the full sales cycle, and translate market needs into product improvements. Expectations: - Drive revenue growth while prioritising long‑term customer loyalty. - Serve as the main technical and commercial actor for key accounts in Europe, providing expert advice on material selection and performance optimisation. - Represent customer insights internally to influence product development and strategy. - Frequent travel across Europe to engage with OEMs, Tier‑1 suppliers and end‑users. Key Responsibilities: 1. **Customer Partnership Development** – Understand strategic goals, manufacture constraints, and supply‑chain challenges; act as trusted advisor on material selection and innovation. 2. **Solution‑Oriented Engagement** – Lead technical discussions that illustrate how prepreg technologies solve specific performance and cost issues. 3. **End‑to‑End Relationship Management** – Manage the entire sales process from technical dialogue and proposal to contract negotiation, delivery, and post‑sales support. 4. **Strategic Collaboration** – Provide continuous customer feedback to product, engineering, and marketing teams to guide future innovations and portfolio enhancements. Required Skills: - Strong technical knowledge of prepreg materials and their impact on aerostructural performance and manufacturability. - Proven ability to build and maintain high‑value technical customer relationships. - Excellent written and verbal communication in English; proficiency in French or other European languages is advantageous; German knowledge and existing contacts with European aerospace OEMs and Tier‑1 suppliers preferred. - Demonstrated negotiation, strategic thinking, and proactive lead generation. - Willingness to travel extensively across Europe. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Materials Science, Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related discipline. - Minimum 3–10 years in a customer‑facing technical role, ideally within aerospace or advanced composite materials.
